Monitor: Concord judge temporarily withholds body cam footage showing deadly police shooting

A judge has temporarily granted a family’s petition to withhold video footage of a deadly police shooting in Bath last month, but said he would welcome further argument before issuing a final decision.

“Having reviewed the videos, the Court finds that long portions of the videos contain graphic and disturbing images which have the potential to cause emotional and psychological damage to the decedent’s family, including his two minor children,” Judge Peter Fauver of Merrimack County Superior Court wrote in an order Friday.
